Summary

In this multi-week course, students will learn the fundamental concepts, design considerations, and best practices intended for key stakeholders who will be working on the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform. The course will consist of lecture, demos, labs and office hours with the instructor to cover a wide range of foundational topics.

The "Multi-Week" Fundamentals course is intended for students that cannot attend training over back-to-back days. This class covers the standard Fundamentals content delivered virtually by a live instructor 1 x day/week (typically on Mondays). Each class day will include lecture in the morning from 9:00am-12:30pm followed by "office hours" to cover the hands-on labs and Q&A from 1:30pm-4:30pm.

Prerequisites

Previous Data Warehouse knowledge is assumed.

Setup Requirements

Fundamentals 4-Day Training students need...

  • to bring a laptop
  • a Snowflake compatible browser (see options HERE)
  • permissions to install software on your computer (**Students will install SnowSQL IN CLASS with the instructor.)

Additional Notes

  • This offering is delivered virtually by a live instructor over Zoom web conferencing.
  • Class sessions are scheduled over multiple, consecutive weeks (1 x day per week). Be sure to check the session days and times on the event page and/or your enrollment confirmation email.
  • Cancellations, transfers and reschedules for these events will follow our standard terms and conditions.
  • Course materials will be accessible on the first day of class and remain available for 90 days.
  • Lab access will be available for 30 days from the first day of class.
  • Missed class sessions cannot be made up in a later event. Students can contact their instructor via email to discuss missed topics and/or utilize the afternoon office hours to ask questions.
